Ayman Aboushala, DMD, MS

Endodontist

Dr. Ayman Aboushala graduated with a D.M.D. degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He did a Residency in Craniomandibular and Temporomandibular Joint Disorders in 1994 at Tufts. He completed an Esthetic Dentistry Fellowship and received a Master of Science degree in 1996. He received his training and was awarded a certificate in Endodontics from Tufts Dental in 2004.

He provides state of the art dental procedures including:

  • Diagnosis and Treatment Planning
  • Root Canal Therapy
  • Microscopic Surgery for Root Canal Teeth

Dr. Ayman Aboushala taught as an associate professor at Tufts from 1996 until 2009, where he taught dentistry and conducted dental research projects.

He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontics, Massachusetts Dental Society, and OKU Honor Society.

In 2002, Dr. Aboushala received the first John and Joyce and Ingle Fellowship Educator Award given by the American Association of Endodontics, Chicago, Illinois.
He has also made contributions to several scientific publications. He lectures nationally and internationally on different topics in dentistry. Dr. Aboushala was chosen by his peers to be included as one of Top Dentists in the field of Endodontics from 2014 until 2025.

Tamara Biary, DMD, MS

Endodontist

Dr. Tamara Biary is a board-eligible endodontist. She graduated from Wellesley College with a Bachelors of Art in Chemistry and Biology. Dr. Biary worked for a few years as a research scientist at Massachusetts General Hospital prior to becoming a dentist. Her passion for research continued during dental school, where she was selected as a Dean’s Research Scholar at Tufts.

Dr. Tamara Biary attended Tufts University for her Master’s in the Biomedical Sciences, for her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree, and for her Advanced Education Certificate in Endodontics. She is also a part-time clinical faculty member at Tufts, where she teaches in the Endodontics department.

During her free time, Dr. Biary enjoys biking, kayaking, and spending time with loved ones. She has always been an avid international traveler. She rode a plane for the first time when she was an infant, and has loved traveling and exploring new cities ever since.

Dr. Biary was awarded the Tufts Alumni Association Award for Clinical Excellence in Endodontics and the Massachusetts Dental Society & Eastern Dentists Insurance Company Matthew Boylan Award Scholarship.

She is a member of the American Association of Endodontists (AAE), American Dental Association (ADA), and the Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS).
